Today's business world is characterised by complex structures within companies and intercontinental business centres. Increasingly sophisticated demands placed on logistics by the market and its players make internal or local solutions quickly obsolete. A comprehensive SCM is today's criterion for efficient logistics. Here our 4PL concept makes a sustainable contribution to the competitiveness of participating enterprises.
Our strengths lie in the fact that we need no capacities of our own (e.g. for transport, warehousing etc.). Our neutrality and flexibility enables us to react faster to changes in the client's business processes. Our approach encompasses complete handling of selection and supervision of all service providers for the client. We assume the role of contact for both client and service provider affiliated to the concept.
An important aspect in the 4PL concept is that it is not a pure purchasing organisation for services. It is far more that our assignment includes consulting, selection and integration of the most appropriate partners such as warehousing suppliers, carriers (air, land, sea), CEP services, IT solutions and other relevant services. Negotiation of conditions is also a criterion that guarantees the client transparency, planability and optimum controlling.
Neutrality is an essential proviso. For each customer the best service offers are integrated into a complete solution, and each provider's optimised offering crafted into a complete solution to create a tailor made supply chain
